Farmer Wants a Wife: Episode 5

Love is on the line, as the ten-day farm stay draws to a close.

Farmer Ben had decided Emma was the girl for him. But after he told Sarah of his decision, Emma drops a bombshell – she doesn’t think his feelings are strong enough; she thinks he should try something with Sarah! But is Sarah happy being a default farmer’s wife?

Beauty queen Kristy missed out on quality time with Nick after getting a sleep-in, letting Steph prove to Nick she’s not afraid of hard work. When Nick and Steph go for a romantic bike ride, it seems Nick’s mind is made up, as he and Steph share their first pash.

Rob and Jo are still smitten with each other, confessing all to Emmaline while holidaying by the sea. A dejected Emmaline bows out gracefully, heading home when the threesome return to the farm. On their last night alone, Rob lit up the shearing shed with hundreds of fairy lights for a romantic dinner with his number one girl.

Michael has failed to impress his first pick, Jenni, which suits Simone just fine. The country boy took the city girl on a romantic date in the shearing shed, and after a few sips of bubbly, Michael’s efforts were rewarded with a kiss.

Larrikin Farmer James took Toni and Cherie out fishing on the Murray River, hoping to smooth things over after a fight the night before. Everything was smooth sailing again – until Cherie lost her temper at how much James was favouring Toni, resulting in her storming out.

At a recent polo match Howie confessed he didn’t fancy either of the girls. But while Kristy took the news in her stride, there were tears for Karen who had really fallen for Howie.

About Georgia

I'm a young adult novelist with a weakness for hot nerds and cheese platters, not necessarily in that order. I am currently working on my third novel. I'm pretty excited about having just turned 30 because it means I can justify spending a lot of time thinking about homewares.
