Farmer Wants A Wife: Episode 1

Beneath the wide expanse of brilliant sky in Australia’s great outback, six men have been busy working the land to make a living… alone. Is their love drought about to be over?

Series one of FWAW culminated in Farmer Chris falling for the gorgeous Kim, and now, a year later, this happy couple are celebrating their marriage! This farmer found his wife, proving that love really can blossom in the outback. Would our next six farmers be lucky enough to find their soulmates too?

After posting their profiles on the internet, offers from women around the country poured in to meet our six country boys. They are: Rob, 42, a cattle farmer; James, a cheeky sheep and wheat farmer; Ben, a cute dairy farmer; Nick, a wealthy wine grower; gentle giant Howie; and shy sheep farmer Michael. Each farmer selected 10 slick city women to spend just five minutes with on a speed date. After this fast and furious flirtation, the farmers had to make the tough choice of which five women they’d like to spend more time with on a group date. Jo took Rob’s fancy while Sarah ruffled Ben’s feathers. Nick was smitten with Kristy, Toni tried to find the way to James’ heart through his stomach with homemade fruitcake while Jenni asked the hard questions of Michael…. And all these ladies were one of five chosen! Stay tuned for next week, when after their group date, the farmers pick just two women to see more of. Is love just over the horizon?

About Georgia

I'm a young adult novelist with a weakness for hot nerds and cheese platters, not necessarily in that order. I am currently working on my third novel. I'm pretty excited about having just turned 30 because it means I can justify spending a lot of time thinking about homewares.
